The annual epidemiology conference WEON 2010

WEON 2010 will be held on the 10th and 11th June at Triavium conference centre in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. This annual epidemiology conference is hosted by the  Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and HTA at Radboud University Nijmegen Medical Centre, under the auspices of the Netherlands Epidemiology Society (VvE) .

The central theme is:

Research with impact!

So, what is impact? What has been the impact of epidemiological research on policy and clinical practice? Which epidemiologic results provide immediate impact for prevention and treatment of diseases and quality of care, and serve as a basis for academic teaching? And is impact viewed differently by patients and ZonMW? Six key-note speakers will discuss this central theme from different perspectives in two plenary sessions. You are all cordially invited to participate and to send in an abstract on your research, either for an oral or poster presentation.
